Oh, man. What can I say about this one besides AWESOME?! The transition on the grated part over where the eyes would be is so smooth it's hard to believe it's two layers! It looks totally round rather than flat cutouts! The process also shows a super nice way to make a 2D painting 3D. This really shows the potential of Colors! 3D. Great work!

Thanks, Kasumi! Blending between layers can get tricky, since things can get out of line as you adjust the depth. But its definitely worth playing around with, I'm pretty happy with the results.

Watching you paint this really helped me understand the software. Thank you very much!

I'm glad to hear it helped, Parrotine. That's one of my favorite things about playbacks, being able to learn through other artists' techniques :)

Just downloaded Colors! 3D for my Nintendo 3DS, and this was the first thing I saw when I went online. This piece of art is amazing. And it's detailed so well.

Without a doubt this is the best piece I've seen on this gallery so far. Just being able to watch this being made was well worth the price of entry.

This is the first thing I've seen on this. Super impressed especially with the underlighting on the head. I think that's clever.
