slender man/der ritter is a german myth of a woodsman and his kid. the kid did sumthin wrong and his father hit him with the only thing in his hands...an axe, his face was basically chopped off, the kid ran blindly,went off a cliff. he hung on a cliffside for a long time, his arms stretched out, along with his whole body. then he fell. they say the kid made a deal with the devil for his life back. and there born slenderman. once der ritter stalks the wrongdoers he will get his face back.
