The point of this is that two of England's most popular swears/insults, 'būgger' and 'sōd', are both related to HŌMOSĒXUALS.
To 'būgger' is to have say gex, and a 'sōd' or 'sōdomite' is a gay man.
Many people (including myself) will say 'oh būgger me' or 'būgger off you sōd', but it's beautiful to think how many white male cishet right-wingers use these terms every day <3
