most transphοbes only act the way they do because they're confused.
you parents most likely grew up when transphοbia was "normal" for them.
and because of that, they dont want to admit they want to understand you

try telling them about the transgender experience and how hard it can be for us to just be ourselves in society.
if they understand what we go through, they'll probably be a lot more sympathetic.
