BEIKA'S A SALMONID TRUST ME BRO by Mister_Swag
my theory is that WAY before the events of splatoon 1, some salmonid scientists mixed an Inkling's DNA sample, most likely provided by an Octarian (cuz octos an salmonids have a trade agreement) with a Salmonid's DNA, creating Beika. then they were like 'lets put him in Inkling territory n see what happens' but Beika fit in fine, cuz he went to school with Ichiya from Squid Squad. n Omega-3 made a remix of his song to remind him of his roots???

oh boy i could use that in my theory! The salmonids named him that cus they wanted inklings to be like 'oh yeah thats defo a squid with a weird skin condition' cuz im imagining an abandoned baby Beika at someone's door with a note taped to his forehead that reads "my name is Beika please take care of me". Or maybe this is just an excuse because im stupid and dont know any japanese.
