hmm i recommend adding lots of detail even if its not recognized, it makes art pop. maybe practice drawing backgrounds so when you draw scenes it doesnt look rushed or smth? (ur art doesnt do this, this is advice i gave from the top of my head)

idk about you, but when i draw hair or need to do a wierd shape, the select fill tool is just *chefs kiss*
