It's funny at how many people with glasses I have sketched over the last 2 weeks... and it's oddly frustrating that the top rim of their glasses always seem to make a tangent exactly where their eyelashes are..

Haha... I wear glasses and trust me, it's just a given. It seems no mater the shape of the nose, a pair of glasses will naturally find that area just below the golden spot to rest. Certainly plays hell with making elements work, as you have found out. Shadows cast in strong mid-day sunlight are ten times hell. Try it! :) Oh, and lovely stuff as usual. In this case, the glasses may have done you a service. The intensify that concentrated look.
