in pursuit of myself, i must hunt down the enemies that threaten my preservation.
i must hurt the people that i believed myself to be loved by in order to save myself, and in doing so, i continuously experience a heartache greater than the confusion and anger i leave them with; a twisted pain i've buried for so long; misunderstood; unseen; unfelt. the chains of my humanity are broken and free, and yet i cannot escape the true nature of my humanity.
