Sure, I do mainly try to draw in my own style more often, and I may accidentally make myself insecure from this, but be honest. Am I annoying to you in any way?
Because I can't stop calling myself a base kid in my head, and it is making me go crazy.. It gets to the point that after drawing in my style in a while, it feels oddly wrong to use a base again, due to what some people say.
(And I have a new tag idea for things that feel serious to say or seem serious about me.)

Here's some advice from me. I think a wise thing to do is that you can still do bases here and there, but the main priority is to learn from how others draw and see if you can apply it to your own art style. The best way to improve is to experiment! try smaller brush sizes, all the different tools, so on and so forth. If you want, I can try making a new tutorial series for this site (that can work with both digital and traditional)

my advice would be to watch som tutorials, and take inspo from stuff, thats what i did lol (thx for following me by the way)

One bases are perfectly fine to use when u use one it make someone sm8le :smile: But if u wanna improve ur artstyle her are 5 tips
1- Look at Artist on CL what do u like wnat do u not
2- For anomty dont be nervous if u dont nave pintrest juxt use well.. ur body it makes it less stiff
3- Go out ur comfort zone ex-fan art
4- Try n go for new things maybe like rendering and shading along with poses etc
5- JUST HAVE FUN !! :)

There is nothing wrong with using bases! I used a lot when I first joined colors, most have just been deleted. It's good to practice your own style, but bases are made to be used! If anyone harasses you about using bases, tell me. I'll deal with them. :3
