Amanda was the "pick-me" type, hanging out with mainly guys, and not liking girls so much. She especially tries to poke at Poppy, due to her innocence. She always tries to get Poppy to change her style, basically her own way of saying, "You should change yourself." Ivan and Azrail are the two she mostly hangs out with, Ivan wants her to not hang out with him as much when he's doing research, and Azrail is fine with her so far, until he's trying to focus on a game or a plan.
