in this version marie would be living in 2025 while constance is a dancer/flapper that died in the 1920s (in this version her family would have owned a chain of jazz clubs, she was ******** by her sisters bf (thats the same) so she would rightful owner of the chain once their parents retired, her sister would run the place into bankruptcy once in charge and abandon all buildings, including the one constance (or connie, in this case) was ******** in

Connie was then left to wander alone for 100 years, watching theifs steal all the possessions that were precious in her life, now vandalised and destroyed
until Marie showed up
she has an interest in history and old buildings so she wandered inside, only to find a 100 year old piano left in, albeit, not the best condition
she sat down to find it was almost in pefect tune (she would later learn that Constance, as she had a special connection the the piano when alive and is able to touch it, had been keeping it in tune) the rest of the story follows quite similarly to the original,but I wanted to make it known that it's set in 2025, Marie just dresses like that because she likes too (and, aa previously stated, is a history nerd)
