grit is a very manipulative and controling guy, but its not entirely his fault. he used to be ignored and neglected by everyone, except for his father. when his father had passed he was all alone and stuck with his "friends". so, in an act of wanting attention and kindness he thought he needed to be like his friends to do it. so over the years he grew ruder and ruder. bossing others around and sometimes even hurting them.
