I have BlazBlue: Entropy Effect on Steam, and I gotta say it is the most impressive 2D Rogue-lite I've played, in terms of visual effects and game mechanics.
While Hakumen is one of my least favorite characters to play (skill issues), I really wish I liked him more, because he has interesting game-play mechanics, but he is just too different from the rest of the cast.

The next in the Entropy Effect series was announced recently, and I'm looking forward to playing that one.

I'm glad you're enjoying BlazBlue, even though it's a spin-off. I'm also super hooked on the game since it came out on consoles last week, and I love being able to play as Hakumen like it's Mega Man X. Hakumen is indeed a very difficult character. If you like the characters, I highly recommend trying BlazBlue Central Fiction. Sometimes the collection of all four games is available for less than $20 on Steam. I wasn't good at fighting games, but BlazBlue's challenge mode turned me into a pro, and it's become one of my favorite video game genres. There's also the BlazBlue: Alter Memories anime on YouTube. It's not the best, but it can help you learn a bit more about the characters' personalities and their world.
