-Yvel wakes up and looks around, confused. The sound of movement makes Crystal wake up-
Crys: huh? Yvel? YVEL! YOU'RE AWAKE!! *rushes to his side*
Yvel: Crys? Why are you so exited?
Crys: You've been asleep for 2 days! I was worried sick! Fern said it was some sort of coma D:'
Yvel: ah.. well. i'm here now.. so stop worrying
Crys: ah *taken aback from the coldness in his voice* yes.. i guess.. so, how do you feel?

Yvel thinks: oh no… she’s asking me that again… I literally cannot feel any difference from before… should I tell her? Ugh… probably? She’ll understand, right? I must tell her the truth!
-The sound of their voice a makes the flowers in their room glow softly im the dark-
Yvel: Actually… the truth is… um…
Crys: Hey, it’s alright. What’s going on? sits
Yvel: I don’t feel any different from before… Every time we visit a shrine… I can’t feel any difference…
Crys: *stunned* Uh… I was actually asking how you were feeling, as in “do you feel hurt,” not whether something changed. Umm… I appreciate the honesty. Maybe there’s a hidden condition to using the keys your siblings gave you! That must be it. Otherwise, why would they give them to you?
Yvel: You… aren’t angry?
Crys: Why would I be?
Yvel: Because last time you asked if I felt different, I said yes.
Crys: It’s alright. You told me the truth, so I’m not angry. This way, we can figure things out together!
Yvel: *stunned* Ah… um… yeah…
Crys: Tomorrow there’s a market festival. We can invite Ciel and see Jewel too! She woke up, you know? Tomorrow’s the first day she’s accepting visitors, so we can go see her!
Yvel: Oh… alright then. Good night, Crys.
Crys: Yeah. Good night, Yvel!
-The next day, Crys and Yvel find Ciel in the drawing room. They invite her to the market festival, and she’s ecstatic to go. Together, they head to Jewel’s room. They knock on her door—frantic movement is heard before everything goes quiet, and then Jewel’s voice calls out.-
Jewel: Ciel? Is that you?
Ciel: Yes! Crys and Yvel are here too!!
-They enter. Ciel runs to Jewel and hugs her tightly. Crys notices Jewel’s patched-up wing and feels bad at the sight of her many wounds. Yvel senses the presence of someone else in the room, but a subtle glance from Jewel stops the words from leaving his mouth.-
