so caius' mom has an temperature quirk while his dad has a volume quirk
mom's temperature could basically adjust the surrounding temperature to her liking but only like 6ft
dad's volume js lets him control his own volume (think of it as present mic's scream quirk but he can make himself as quiet as he wants etc)
now combine those 2 and now you got Banshee&Ice
The Banshee side just makes his voice really loud without any control... could break glass , whilst the Ice side js makes everything

cold (smth happened in the pregnancy that only made him able to make stuff cold)
side effects:
caius' voice is always strained so he js writes and caius is always cold & more prone to frostbite :grin:

backstory!!!
Caius' dad died... and his mom sold him to some rando which set him up for years of abuse, eventually being rescued when he was like 9 .... alas that left him with a bunch of unresolved trauma & he refuses to go anywhere near the hero industry.... maybe. i might change it.
caius is also disabled (partially blind & chronic pain)
