Frank "Rocky" Fiegel by SteamboatBaxterTADC
Now Immortalized on Colors Live, the Polish Immigrant who became the inspiration for Popeye the Sailor: Frank Fiegel, a retired Merchant Marine, worked in Chester, Illinois as a bouncer for a local tavern, famously always getting into brawls, resulting in a deformed eye, he always had a pipe in his mouth which led to a habit of talking through one side of his mouth.

Don't question it, but I randomly started laughing when it said he was normally used to talking with a different side due to the pipe being in the other-
