physiology says our emotional system gets attached to a fictional character as if they were real. the characters buld places in our minds only they can reach, thats why whe they are hurt we hurt to. feeling real things for someone who isn't real isn't rare. but given the information professional physicians have given u should still be carful with how u treat them, even just a chat with AI can turn into u not being able to go without them.

the connect with a character even in yur mind can become so stong you confuse it with your real life.
you start to take your time in the real world thinking about the escape world you've built with that character.
which can turn into something worse if you let it.

you day dream untill you cant. the daydreaming can get unheatly and come into your real dreams.
you start getting wants for things only your characters can give, but they aren't real so you go back to try and get what you can from them. its a d.rug, you go back for more and come back hungeir then beofre.

slowly but surly your emotional system is filled with false stoires and characters.
this could lead to seeing and hearing things, you've spent so much time in yur litte world. now your brain is tying to make it your only world.
this can lead to hospitalization and being put on medical mediums to try to get you to snap out of it, but if your to far gone its hard for the m.eds to work.
you cant tell whats real anymore.
people just become background characters in your story.

you then to crazy maybe even to the point of d34th.

the most likely bad thing that can come out of it is just getting too attached to it and relying on it like a person, really, i personally dont see anything wrong *occasionally* messing around with chatbots as long as you recognize it as an unfeeling tool and not a source of therapy or information

@clownface @studlustforever yeah i agree with all of that. I dont get attatched to ai or fictional characters enough tothe point where i want a full on relationship, im fully aware. Sometimes its just nice to talk to something else other than real people, but im fully aware that its not a real person. its just something i like to do

i quit using ai around 2 months ago because it fυcked with my mental health so just be careful :smile_cat:
