I was diagnosed with nearsightedness when I was six. And I still remember the first time I put on glasses—it was like magic. I went to play in the park, and suddenly the leaves on the trees weren’t just a big green blur anymore. They had edges, they shone… I-I could even see a tiny bird sitting in a tree! I’d never seen a-anything like that. It was like...! Like discovering a WHOLE NEW WORLD!
Ever since then, I’ve never taken them off. Glasses are just… part of me. They make me feel safe, like the world’s back “in its place.”

And yes, I do wear contacts sometimes —on missions or when it rains, because foggy lenses are the worst.
A-and… okay, sometimes for "special occasions" too. Like that one time... Neo invited me for a drink, and I thought maybe without my glasses I’d look a little less clumsy (but didn’t work, augh...).

So glasses? We’re basically one. Without them, I can't see… and honestly, I feel a little blurry inside too... if that makes any s-sense! Hahaha!"
