once a year the 8th grade band kids perform with the highschool band in a football game,, and today we went to the highschool to practice with them (it was a HEK ton of people it was so hot in there but sososo fun)

anyway

im a low reed (bass clarinet) and the guy i like,, im just gonna say his name for the sake of it,, albert,, he's also a low reed (baritone saxophone) so for parades and concerts we get grouped together with other low reeds alot which i DONT mind. (the other bass clarinets are funny but they're stupid sometimes)
albert is such a funny guy (well i find him funny, my friends hatе him) we have the same kind of humor. we both dab to eachother & we both have the same vocabulary. we're both dank memers

he's also just like goofy & dorky in general (NOT in a mean way),, which i like . lowkey .

anyway at the practice today at the highschool it went like this
- go over football game music with the highschool
- highschool shows us some of their music for their marching show (it was so cool)
- we get pizza & disperse around the band hall to eat
- and then we go back to school

the band director explained that for the 'eating pizza' part that we're going to be separated into groups of 4 and we all share 1 pizza box, and then we go eat wherever

he was dismissing us by sections (basically the kind of instruments, groups, whatever. [ex. trumpets, clarinets, saxophone])
as we left the main band hall we were immediately grouped, we couldnt choose the people we wanted to be with . he dismissed saxophones, then clarinets,, it was a lot of people so it took awhile for me to get to the door,, and i ended up getting grouped with the other 2 bass clarinet dudes & one clarinet guy who's pretty funny
i wasnt with my friends but i didnt mind

we got our box of pizza and we were finding somewhere to sit when we saw albert just standing there
he said he got grouped with 3 people from a different school & he got scared so he just ditched them
we all said 'okay bro :thumbsup:'
and he just joined us i guess,, which i DID NOT MIND,,, hah.
we sat down in the other band hall and i was just happily eating my pizza and joking around with the other people in my group
the time i was there was sososo funny i was laughing so hard

we made jokes about the band directors ordering firing squads on us, public executions of all of us, and other things that i found funny
*'other funny clarinet guy', albert, and me,, we all we're in the same class @ some point in elementary and we were re-telling stories and i laffed
**the teacher used to call me x-o-chitl (think of it being said like 'x-auh-chittle' or something) and 'other funny clarinet guy' & albert call me that
and okok so idk how it started but ima js call 'em E & M

E started roughhousing with M and E took off M's shoe and kept throwing it around,, and then albert was pulling M by the shoelace and E was pulling him by his hoodie,, it was really funny & chaotic
i kept telling them to stop cause we were lowkey embarrassing ourselves in front of the other schools,, they didnt but me and 'other funny clarinet guy' moved away from them cause we were not dealing with whatever was going on with them

eventually they settled down and everyone was finishing up their pizzas and we just had free time so i was talking to my friends ,,
M went up to me cause he broke a small part of his instrument, (the connecting pieces were bent or something) so me being the strong loser i am helped him fix it
anyway
since i got up to help him fix it i just decided to sit on a chair nearby albert and the others cause i was standing up anyway
i started just playing stuff and albert was kinda standing in front of

-the chair that was in front of me, listening to what i was playing,, and sometimes he asked what i was playing and all that

we were just talking for a bit before everyone was called to the main band hall to be dismissed to the buses back to the schools
i was still around the rest of my group and while waiting i just played a bit cause i wuz bored
(sometimes ill be practicing/playing my instrument in band and albert will just come to me and mess with my instrument while im playing?? which i dont mind cause i ignore him but i find it lwk cute,,)
so he was doing that and then we were dismissed to the bus to take us back

i sat next 2 my friend on the way back(she's also a low reed) and when we got to our school we went to the band hall and started putting away our instruments (after that we were supposed to get our stuff and go outside to the pick-up area)
so i got my stuff and i looked around the band hall rq and didnt see him so i was like 'oh ok SHRUG' and started walking out of the band hall
the reason why i didnt see him is because he just so happened to be in front of me also exiting the band hall

albert was about to leave but one of the band directors walked to exit as well and he opened the door for them,, i was a bit behind so i didnt think he was going to keep the door open for me but he waited for me and held the door open :}
we both walked out at the same time and we were walking to the pick-up area side by side,, like PRETTY CLOSE if you ask me and we were talking while also talking to the band director
* i sound cheesy #bruh but i reallyreally like 'walking-and-talking' with him

he eventually had to go bc his friend was behind him and his friend called him to talk to him so i was left alone #

i have some other things 2say tho

i left out some things cause i didnt kno how 2 describe them well :p
but in general we just made a heck ton of eyecontact and we talked a bunch,,,,,,,,,,,, :angel:
he also knows who incredible gassy is!! he told me this morning in band,, while i said he reminded me of syndrome from the incredibles he said i reminded him of incredible gassy (in a joking manner) and i was like 'you kno that guy!!' and he was like 'yes bro!! i love incredible gassy' and i was all like

'okay YAY bro im gonna call you incredible gassy now thats your new nickname'
so he calls me 'x-o-chitl', 'punk', 'noob' and i call just him 'incredible gassy', 'alberto', and 'albort' (inside joke)
