by the way I've been wondering for some time now but what's the deal with their tail?
and what's with the weird liquid in there too?

@Nyx_The_Moth the tail is more of a proboscis kinda deal...
and the needle in the tip is just a mod for the point so that the blood sampling is more hygienic!
Gaukshu's species can learn things about other living things as long as they have blood/blood like fluids that they can consume, though they dont need the needle mod for that!
(though they still eat through their mouths, the tails is just an defensive adaptation in a planet with low visibility)
