Therians and furries are very different :O
Furries dress up as animals that have human-like features. Such as standing on two legs or having paws as hands. (Basically a cosplay)
Therians are people who feel a spiritual connection to animals, or have had a past life as an animal in any way.
And you cannot choose to be a therian, but you can choose to be a furry :3
(pretty sure you knew this, it's a hyperfixation of mine- :skull:)

THERIANS AND FURRY DIFFERENCES:
therians: a therian is someone who believes they obtain the soul of an animal, whter they were this animal in a past life or were born in the wrong body atherian identifys with ths animal. (if u dont identify then u r an Otherpaw. A furry is a person who identifies as a part humqn part animal being. Furries express by anthropology and other stuff like that also wearing fursuits and attending conventions. Therians express themselves by doing quads vocals or
