Fire Zog by DragonVirtue
An old species i made up when i was 9 (i think. all i know is, i was younger)
The Fire Zog is incredibly dense, with enough brainpower to remember only one person at a time. They are extremely easy to tame and befriend, but not great family pets (4 that reason) The females lay an egg once every two years and it takes seven months to hatch. If the egg is moved in the middle of the incubation to a colder climate, then the egg will take seven MORE months to hatch. #DVOS #DVzog

the Zogs hatched in a colder climate have longer/thicker fur and hotter fire. Their fire does not spread, but it will burn those who touch it (like a hot stovetop) wild Zogs use their fire in combat (though it doesn't really help, they are really clumsy)
