Chapter 4.5 – Determination
Year 2193
“To keep the population stable, you two must not exist anymore.”
A message for Rai’s parents—one he never forgot.
Soon after, they were gone. The house was empty. The nightmare stayed with him, replaying again and again.
Bit’s alarm jolted him awake. Rai sat up, sweating. He couldn’t let this happen to anyone else. No child should lose their family to Luminus.
A week had passed since they uncovered the hidden data pointing to Luminus’s secret. Rai decided he would stop it, no matter the risk. He tried to keep Kira out, to protect her. But she refused.
“If you’re going,” she said, “I’m going too.”
And Rai realized—this fight wasn’t his alone anymore.
