dave meets ray in vegas, after the "an ending" route!! the "an ending" route is basically a route where dave and jack go to vegas, but dave is scared of jack. dave goes out to a place to eat, and meets ray where they hit it off pretty well as they were both walking to the same direction! ray talks about where he's from, (which is las vegas) and dave tells ray where hes from too,,, they decide to meet up at the same cafe everyday after dave is away from jack. dave takes ray with him (home state)
