as of writing this post, there is a s**ual harassment campaign going on against a handful of minor artists on here. it may be a group, or it may just be one person, but multiple accounts have been created that are posting p**nographic and generally s**ualized content personally targetting these minors. this includes drawings of their favorite characters, and drawings OF THEM, constituting it as a digital form of ch*ld p**nography.

some of these posts have been up for over 24 hours now, with no action taken against them despite their severity. one of the affected minors is wishing they were dead, and has expressed concerning sentiments regarding their own wellbeing. otherwise, there is general anxiety around the website as a whole, as many people outside of those targetted have unwillingly been exposed to this vile content.

and you sit here. and you do nothing. and it has been a pattern for a while now. --

the colors moderation team has, for months now, been working at a snails pace whenever serious situations come up. numerous reports have been made on these drawings, and yet they remain up. zyik has been personally contacted by at least one person i know of, and has acknowledged something is going on, AND YET YOU DO NOTHING.

these posts are directly traumatizing children. and they will not stop unless you step in, because vile people have grown bold watching your inaction. --

many "ragebait" accounts have cropped up as of recently that say terrible slurs and start fights, and yet you ignore them, despite them being reported.

there are many instances of underaged accounts from people under 13 that exist, despite COPPA mandating you delete them. they get reported, and it somehow takes you weeks for them to get deleted.

the worst of the worst people have come onto here and gr**med children under your lack of watch.

i understand your team is small. --

i understand running a website is not an easy task. but when you have a website full of minors, vulnerable, damaged, broken people who come to this place for love and support... you need to protect them. you need to put up strong barriers to keep them from getting hurt.

if you cannot focus on the safety of the children on your platform, you do not deserve to have one. it should be your number one priority, especially on a console such as the nintendo switch, ESPECIALLY when you have a--

i dont know where your priorities are at right now. people have tried to communicate with you, and from what i can gather, they feel like theyre talking to a brick wall. and honestly, this kind of thing has been an issue for a while.

i remember back in, around 2019-2020, there was a user on here who was copying and tracing the art of numerous people on the website.--

he also made very inflammatory posts targetting a comic artist off-site, and made some r*cist remarks on some of his own works. it took you months to ban him. i remember feeling so paranoid and uncomfortable when he was on the platform, and in retrospect, He Sucked, but wasnt the worst thing ive ever seen.

now think about the kids right now, who are facing things so much worse, so much more frequently, because of your inaction.

you are all pathetic. you are a disgrace to your own community.--

if things do not change, your platform will come crashing down beneath you sooner or later.

i do not hate any of you on the dev team. but i am horribly disappointed in you. it isnt too late to try and fix things for the future, but its certainly too late to undo the hurt already caused by your negligence.

talk to us. stop ignoring us. stop making zyik the only person practically running this place. tell us all why you guys have done NOTHING. we've been asking for a better blocking tool--

for over a year now, probably way longer, because we want to take matters into our own hands, but you havent given us anything. i dont even know if you've actually tried to improve it at all behind the scenes. all i know is that your silence and inaction makes it seem like you dont care.

Hi i'm Daniel, i'm 15 and i see p*rn on colors for days at a time because the mods dont do their job, pushing the mods to do their job is important and keeps me as a minor safe along with all the other minors on this app.

its sad to see a depressing and unsafe website that could be potentially GREAT if they'd fix up some things...and yes i admit i used to be bad BUT NOT A CP ARTIST. i had to report them multiple times and they made my bf almost k!ll himself its sad and stupid.

Thank god people are saying something, and especially you, since you're mature and can write well. Colors is (was?) a wonderful place, but the lack of decent moderation and minimal banning applications is horrific.
As with many other things, perhaps the awful events of late will finally spur them into cracking on and down on the perpetrators.

Hi I'm Ace, a minor who got to see CP and several people get s3xually harassed. I joined Colors to draw and get better at digital art, not find a community that has felons! Theres also the Posterun situation and they are letting Posterun and other sites steal peoples art!

I may be late to this, but I have never really felt like this app is a "safe" space. I joined when I was 12 and have been here on-and-off for a decade, and even back then it was my first exposure to p*rn, sm*t, and every fetish under the sun. It doesn't help that they only have ONE dedicated moderator (who is from a country where the age of consent was recently 13), but one of the LEAD DEVELOPERS of the app proudly talks about p*rn on his account and has both posted it and casually mentioned that their favorite movies are p*rnos. Jens and Johannes have proven themselves to only care about politics when people break the rules. I made some long-term friends here, but after the Switch port the community grew too large for 3 Swedish guys to handle.

I'll say this- I've accedently encountered some really NASTY PHOTOS online that were unfiltered. But this wasn't on Colors. so i know how it feels to see this kind of poop art.
People really should just post their bull in "nsfw" like- its like it didn't exist to those CIRCUS FREAKS! Their are going to be people online and offline who break the rules, the best we can do is not sound like Willma and do our best to crack down on this kind of stuff.

I really hate how this site almost turned into Roblox. with a bad community, rotten art, and horrible people. Around 2019, there were MASSIVE amounts of f3tish artists freely making their trash on the site-
I thank god that there arn't as many as there were then.

Avoid un blocked NSFW accounts

block them on all other social media. (if they have any)

and avoid looking up tags with this kind of stuff ESPECIALLY IF THOSE USERS FREQUENTLY USE THOSE TABS!
this is why i avoid the tag #/ai on Facebook. as it could contain nsfw content that is generated by AI.
