POV:Tired as f*ck Shey checks notifs by detective_doodles
I took a couple of days off from the online gallery and I’m still trying to figure out what the hell happened during my two-day absence. I’ve got like 30 messages still unread/unanswered, pings from tons of people on both accounts, and a bunch of strangers sending me really weird stuff about my OCs--- I’ve started deleting some because they’re kinda shady and way out of line (I’ll probably block a few, yuck).
To my mutuals, don’t worry if I haven’t replied yet — I’m busy with the Q&A, art trades, translations, and I’ve still got 2 days of vacation left before going back to work YIPPEEEEE. It’s 3 a.m., I’m heading to bed and leaving this as a problem for tomorrow-Shey to sort out — I’m sure she’ll deal with it in no time hehe

people on colors for some reason don't know the meaning of boundaries or keeping some convos private (especially when those 'private' convos are on SOMEONE ELSE'S art like what is wrong with you lmao)

Reading your comment made me sooo happy aaaaahhh!!! I really miss you on the gallery!!! Even so, I still try to check out your posts on Instagram, even if I’m not super active there!!!
And yeah, this is something that’s been bugging me for quite a while now—people just don’t know how to respect anything :skull:
It also really gets on my nerves when like 3+ users jump into one of my drawings and start having this long-ass convo completely out of context that has nothing to do with me… like, I honestly don’t know what else to do with those people besides blocking them and hoping no new ones show up doing the same thing.
Anyway, I loved getting your comment! You’re a really special online friend to me, and I’m so glad we can still keep in touch :)

Yeah, Lenny... some of the comments were so nasty I just decided to delete them :skull:
I mean, it’s fine if a user likes one of my characters or even ships them with one of their own! But the stuff I read crossed every single line I’m not willing to tolerate. So I deleted the messages and blocked the user instantly

some people are completely unaware of their digital foot print
