@Prometheus
No, not exactly, what the exactly infection is, that is unclear as of this point. But I can tell you that my interpretation of this AU takes place about six months after 'World of Light'.

'Two weeks went by since the group had met Revan, and things were getting rougher. Shiek had departed to locate Link and Zelda, whilst the rest headed to the tundra, where Lucina, Chrom and the Ice Climbers were last spotted. While they found Chrom and Nana alive, the former was too injured to join their search. Deep within the icy tunnels, Rob made the horrific discovery; Lucina's frozen corpse. His hysteric cries rang through the cave, his hope gone.'

'Revan attempted to console him, only to struck in the face by Rob's fist, his eyes drenched in tears and ablaze with fury, a fury which flickered away as fast as it came as he shut down, blaming himself for being powerless to save Lucina. Ness, Cappy, Villager and Marth all understood Rob's grief-stricken anger, and tried to console him themselves, only to be pushed away, their leader's spirit was broken...'
