cl vs other? cl is a pretty basic program, some good free ones are ibispaint and procreate, krita is good but idk if its subscription, csp is paid, and blender is pretty good for rigging and animation, flipaclip isnt great anymore.
art tablet? uhh depends i can find some good ones but a screen one or a one you hook up to a monitor?

storyboard v animation? depends! are you better at planning out and making comics with a buncha notes or drawing animation. also theres a huge difference between tween animation and frame by frame animation

matpat is up to you!
livestream? if you want! youd have to figure out what youre gonna livestream and a setup, but it usually can help promote the show

more on tablets:
a nonscreen tablet vs a screen tablet is more up to you
screened tablets offer the normal experience of seeing a pen/finger create a line, but could cause strain.
nonscreened tablets are helpful if you dont need to look at your hand, and prevent strain, but it takes a bit to get used to as you cant exactly see where youre putting your pen

music? you can always try to find someone, but basic music theroy can be helpful, especially if you have something in mind and just wanna make a demo to have someone else finish
hiring? uhh hiring ppl sucks, and usually you should pay them, or theyre voluntary and can leave. a small crew takes longer, a big crew is harder to manage. do whstever feels comfortable. pilot blows up and youre like 'wow i need a marketing person' then get one, be aware PEOPLE NEED COMPONSATION -continued-

especially if they are professionals. if you cant pay them, disclose that!

and platforms? short form content does well on things like insta, tiktok and yt, but i recommend yt at the very least. we have a big art community on there! otherwise cl is pretty good, so are art discord servers but i would recommend yt as a good main
