Neo makes a little gesture without even realizing it—something she picked up from her father. Absentmindedly, she pulls the exact same face Aiden does when he’s deeply focused. Even the same tiny “hmph” slips out of her lips.

It breaks my heart that she doesn’t recognize the man who cared for her all this time… and yet, his presence still lingers in her, etched into the smallest details of who she is.

I know I’ve been pretty absent these past days—low on motivation to draw and caught up with work. I really wanted to finish Jack’s birthday piece, but it just didn’t happen… I only managed the lineart in CSP, no colors yet (+ my laptop charger died, and the new one won’t get here until Thursday :sob:).
