Hikaru should have mimikyu and ditto! Or any ghost tyoe pokemon
Yoshiki would definitely have any kind of dark type pokemon

hikaru would prolly have a pokemon he can relate to

I'm not really sure about specific pokemon but I thought about a few types their pokemon may have

so for Hikaru I'm thinking maybe ghost types and fairy types to represent how he's this sort of otherworldly being and maybe poison types to represent how in some ways this relationship is hurting them and this last one is a bit of a stretch but maybe water types because sometimes he gets all goopy and stuff but I'm less certain about water types

as for Yoshiki

I think maybe dark types and normal types I chose normal types specifically because ghost types are immune to normal types and vice versa I thought this would be interesting because it could be used to represent how their relationship Isn't meant to be pursued and maybe grass types sense they're weak to poison (also ghost types are weak to dark)
