ok the lore for now is basically like how Dr. Eggman makes his robots? (taking the animals and using them to power them) so this guy has a small bird inside him. the bird is in a simulator, with an environment similar to what the robot experiences (for example, the robot is in a hot room with bright lights, the bird sees a sunny day in the simulator) but the bird doesn't actually know its in a robot, bc the simulations are all realistic scenarios.

this one's design is not final, i'm planning on using a specific bird species (idk which one yet) to make the design based off of

This concept is actually based on tests with lab rats
they put the rats in VR simulators (the rat thinks its real) and they record and collect data of the rats reactions and instincts
