I am a nonbinary person, I use they/them and I don't identify as a boy or a girl.
However, my family is very transphobic, so I am closted to them. I am out at school, online, ect because I don't get judged as much for my gender.
But at home when I get called a girl, she/her, ect, I don't really feel dysphoric. I do experience gender dysphoria when I am misgendered in public but with my family I don't really care, Hell I'd even say I like being a girl around my family

I don't know if this is me trying to comfort myself about being misgendered, which I get misgendered a LOT at home, or if It's imposter syndrom or whatever but if anybody else knows what this is called, or also experiences this please let me know cus I feel really weird about it, It's been making me question my gender for months now :/

I was gender-fluid for a while actually, But this isn't like that, I don't feel like my gender changes from time to time
It's that only certain ppl can use certain pronouns and stuff like for me. If my best friend misgendered me I would think about it all night, but if my mom misgendered me I would be fine with it

non binary is an umbrella term
people fall under different parts of that umbrella
You could be Bigender(having 2 genders)
or you could be demigender (feeling half of one gender and half of another)

I actually have a very similar issue. My family isn't exactly transphôbic, but they do call me a girl. I don't care a whole lot when it's them, but I hate when other people do it. I think it's just a matter of being used to it.
