also i have braces and when you just get them drink lots of water and take advil it helps!

I have braces, and yeah they can hurt, sometimes just because of sores they give you in your mouth. I did order this mouthwash from Amazon that helped. It was specifically for mouth sores and pain. It's called Colgate Peroxyl Mouth Sore Rinse. It seemed to help at least dull the pain when I'm waiting for the pain medicine to kick in. Also, when you use wax, don't forget it's in your mouth and eat because you will end up eating the wax. It's not harmful but still.
