The term "blue gene" refers to the "ideal Arian genetics" that the Nzy regime was aiming for with their eugenics program.
The Sidney Sweeney ad was a play-on of this program refering instead to their "blue jeans" as being ideal.
There are activists who are taking this ad way too seriously, thinking that this is actually a resurgeance of the eugenics program.
The irony here is that activists who are lobbying for abortiôn are the ones rallying for a real eugenics program.
