And the "angel" responded...
anyways, Xylo agreed to let the angel take over his vessel in return for happiness. cont. in comments

So in order for the "angel" to posses his vessel, and take slight control over his body, Xylo had to... well die. So, wit the help of the "angel" he well dies.
And so he is resurrected into the world of forsaken by the spectre (the "angel" was in on it)
and so, Xylo is being half possessed by the "angel"
although, it is like a parasite, so if it was like, actually in the game, every milestone, he would have more of the "angel" covering his body. milestone 4 would be the fully possessed vessel.
