They would try to either make Poppy seem inappropriate, make her seem like a criminal, or make her seem like a bad person-
It never worked, but it always left Poppy hurt by just about everyone- Sometimes she would even go into disguise to get away from everyone-

It made it even worse because, she has extremely bad luck in the past as well- Somehow, she stayed innocent and friendly, but she got more sensitive over time-

At the moment, Poppy still remembers the past, she still helps people-

Poppy was always afraid of showing emotion, because everyone in the past would have gotten even worse, so she always hid it-

Sometimes, a few people noticed, but she always said she was okay when she clearly wasn't- It got to the point where she almost couldn't feel emotion-

But when she met Baxter and everyone else, her emotions would come out at random times, and she was fine with that, because she knew they would actually comfort her when that happened-

(Okay I'm stopping for now, my fingers hurt from typing this-)

Everyone knew Poppy's weakness in the past, and they would use that to their advantage- Even using her fears multiple times-

They never cared about her in the past, everyone seemed too selfish to realize what they were doing to her, it was even to the point that Poppy almost wanted to actually dissappear one time-

Sometimes Poppy would pretend to not have emotion when it nearby became real- Not to mention, everyone actually wanted Poppy to hurt herself- Luckily, she never did do that-
