I made a friend by talking to her when she was struggling. So, she talked to me when i was going through stuff.
Its easier to become friends with someone who comments on your posts than it is the other way around

it can be hard,
i speak from several years of experience,
but- here's somethings that can help you out
you see, there's kinda a science to making friends
#1. having a common interest,
on this platform, its usually a fandom that both people like
#2. unexpected interactions,
or, commenting on their posts, for example, if they are in a same fandom and do art of it,
talking to them about stuff they enjoy is a great way for ppl to like you, and keep them interested

#3. shared interest in making friends,
ofc, the person will have to be willing to make friends as well,
that's the hard part,
typically, 1 out of 3 people will be interested in chatting, so if you strike up a lot of conversations, over the course of a few weeks, you'll make yourself a little more known, and there for, allow other people to attempt to make friends w/ya
