Cannibalism in nature is more common than one might think. However, this might not necessarily count as cannibalism. It's not really cannibalism for big fish to eat little fish, so long as they aren't of the same genetic species. Just because the big bananas look like the little banana, doesn't necessarily mean they are of the same genetic species. Unless the little banana is a child... Nature can be so pointlessly cruel.
(I'm joking to some degree by the way) : )
