my sister stepped on the back of my 2DS a year ago and now the screens are black with cracks. now i cant play Animal Crossing: New Leaf :sob:
the console still works but i cant see a thing on my screen

I've never played new leaf, but it sounds super fun!
I want to save up for a ds, bc I had one when I was little, but I could only have a switch or a ds :D

I think she should. If it was an accident, like a complete accident, then maybe she should only pay for say, half of it, and help you buy a new one. Dont tell her, 'hey, pay for a new ds for me' or smth like that, try and be like, 'hey, Ik it was an accident, but is it ok if you can help me pay for a new ds?'

Dont make her HAVE to, just gently ask her, and if she wont, I suggest you bring it up with your parents, and just say, that it was an accident, and you want her to be able to pay for some of it, since she did end up breaking it, and you would like it if she can help be responsible for it as well
