navi is your lil fairy companion in the game the legend of zelda orcarina of time she's used in the '"traditional zelda formula" as the companion characters the embarks on ur jorney with u as a guide but she is known for being a lil annoying with her iconic line LOOK! LISTEN! HEY HEY !

OKAY let me explain the lore

The basic lore of all of Zelda actually start in one of the last games realesed in the zelda series "Skyward sword" which
explains
•the curse of the demon kind demise
•how the master sword "the sword the seals the darkness" was created
basicaly
zelda is the princess and is the only bl00d reincarnation of the goddess hylia (don't worry this is all fake religion set for the game due too nintendos polices) link is the boy (or man) with the soul of "the hero"
in skyward sword you the Original link works to fordge the master sword and defeat the demon king Demise
BUT
at the end of the game when you defeat him
he placed a curse on Zelda's bl00d and links soul saying his evil will be reincarnated aswell as zelda and link
So THATS WHY THERE ARE SO MANY ZELDA GAMES

NOW

after a few games that dont matter next on the time line is
Orcarina of time this is where it gets a lil weird
orcarina of time is about time travel and becouse there is time travel there is link and Zelda start out as kid but since there kid the uninvertedley create THREE TIME LINES :skull: any way I'm goind to just explain the child time line which is the only one that realy matters anyway

So you start out as link a young(about 10-12year old ) boy who lives in the kokiri forest a forest protected by The Great Deku tree he lives with the other kokiri kids children who are forever children they never age and at a certain time each child is given a fairy .... except for link who is infact constantly ritaculed by his pears for being a misfit

After many weeks of not mares (which turn out to be prosthetic of the evil that is come upon the land of hyrule)
the Deku tree sends Link a fairy (Navi) who tells link the deku tree is in much need of him Link hurries to him (not without links man bully Midori giving him a hard time) where link founds out a cursed parasite was put into him and he is now dying despite links effort he dies :( now with his dying wish links only father figures is dead link is forced to set out on a journey he is much to young for and is forced to live the only place he ever new as home

Link sets outside of the forest for the first time and travels the land if hyrule for the castle and zelda which he was appointed to visit

After finding Zelda She commands link to search for the 3 secret stones used to open the doors of time in the temple of time SHORT SKIP link founds the stones on his way back to the castle ganandorf (which is the evil renincarnated) is seen chasing after zelda and her appointed care taker impa link rushes to the temple to set the stones and open the doors of times

Oh also

While zelda was fleeing she threw the orcarina of time a sacred musical instrument held by the royal family into the river link then obtains the orcarina of time

Link then Rushes to the temple placing the stones and plays the orcarina of time opening the doors of time to the sacred place holding the Master sword link then grabs it cousing a vortex into The sacred realm where link spends 7 years sleeping until he was old enough to wield the master sword when he awakes he is an adult and has lost his child now leaving to see an apocalyptic word destroyed becouse ganondork was in charge

you then to defeat him link is required to back intime by placing the master sword back on its petastole

So that's explains the time travel :D
