After a chemical gone wrong, a Laminar was subjected to acidic chemicas. Due to mutation, a Acidnid was born. There softer shells are protected by nasty fur and acidic webbing and spit. They live in larger groups with prey hanged till soft enough to eat with there sifter mandibles.
