does anyone else have a 3DS? i think its sd card reader is broken since it keeps saying write protection is on when i dont think it is. i just bought pokemon ultra sun and i cant play it until i have an sd card without write protection to update it, pls help.
EDIT: it just needed a new card reader, it fixed now :D

I've had this problem a couple times. If you have a micro SD card, you could probably try replacing the adaptor cartridge. If not, Maybe try transfering the files to a different SD card.

@The_Adjudicator the sd card im using doesnt have that i think, its just one thing without the smaller one inside- sry if im misunderstanding im clueless on this sorta stuff :sob:

If you have a moderately new PC or laptop, there should be an SD card slot which you can use to transfer files. Maybe you just need to transfer the files to a new SD card?
