- i think that the packages are the research and data the expendables collected- since in the ridge room there are twelve packages with painter. also if you look carefully you can see that the room is dock 218. also 'extraction includes you and one' that must mean seb and panter, right? so maybe seb managed to use bribery (the data he collected from exr-p) to find an escape route with a rival organization, in this casd innovation inc. but i also think that this entire operation is reliant on-

the exr-p's, since if you k1ll painter then he wont appear in that room and seb- well yknow... because of that other ending i think they are stuck in a time loop bc of mr lopee, and they are merely waiting for you to leave, thats why they had to delay the retrieval of the crystal- until they could find a way out.
