1 cup uncooked white rice

1-inch **** fresh ginger
2 tsp cornstarch
1 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp water
1/2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
2 tbsp neutral cooking oil
Seasoning the congee:
Salt to taste
1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
To make the smiley face:
8 eggs, fried in pairs sunny-side-up the way you like
1-2 stalks green onion, with 8 pieces cut longer
for ''eyebrows'' and the rest finely sliced for garnish
