You really nailed it, didn't you! XD I think learning to shade a ball was one of the most basic things I learned in my art classes. Over time, you learn to shade different materials and textures. This was based on a smooth metallic material, other more advanced materials might include wood, glass, or ceramic.
At any rate, thanks for the little shout-out. : ) I'm glad you know the tchniques already, but there's always room for more growth. Keep practicing now and then.
