@-Harvey_Draws- OKOKOKOK SO there are 5 species: humans, clerics, mages, dragons, and shapeshifters. this corrupt human dictator took away all magic for himself, Eccolo. so, there was a prophecy long ago made that said that one person from each species would still be able to regain their powers and defeat Eccolo. they're called onsi, basically the chosen ones to put it simply. so, they hold an examinations heavily run by Eccolo that shows who is an Onsi w/ Eccolo's magic. Blue means yes, red

means no. sooooo one year they pass a law saying everybody 10 and up must take it, cause previously it was only adults. welll that leaves 15 year old Micah Brownden to take the examination. anddddddd guess what the light turns? blue. (ik, shocker) before she could process this, she's whisked away by the person who held the examinations for her, who wore a dark robe covering half her face. she whipped off the hood and it was the famed Parine Amare, mage onsi and prev secretary to Eccolo.

Parine basically says 'pack your bags, you need to start training'. Micah packs, sure, butttt she does so to run awa from her responsibilities. (gasp,rebel) well, after sneaking out in the middle of the night, Parine finds her cause miss girl put a tracker on her ToT yeahhhh, Micah doesnt really get a chance lol. Parine leads her to the dragon onsi, Aeterna. she became Parines pet, tho dragons dont make the best pets. anyways, they board Aeterna, and leave town.

okay, so theyre flyin away and micah gets a call from her friends from home, willow and oliver. they seem worried about her, but then introduce a new person they met who can help them. enter espira insen, a 16 year old (most characters are 15 btw) who's dad works as a scientist. the same place oliver's sister/micah's brother kieron's girlfriend bailey works out (kieron and bailey sre both 19 btw) wellll when the name Insen is said...

... Parine has a huge reaction. like, she freaks out and starts asking lots of questions. espira seems to undersand the worry, not telling anyone else tho. weird. anyways, their call is cut short when they arrive at parine's house, a pretty big one to begin with. i mean, it is to be expected of someone of her status ig. there micah meets her new roomate, parine's little sister, chrissa amare (14). chrissa seems to be a bit annoyed at micah randomly appearing, but they end up becoming friends.

then, one day, parine shows micah a drone she had been working on for a while now. it can transport people from place to place easily, though it still needs LOTS of work. micah hears this and connects the dots and realizes this is what it could take to get back home. she steals the drone in the middle of the night and takes off. wellll yu remember the part where its still needs a ton of work? well, that causes micah to crash land in rumswick, the land of the clerics.

micah lands in the backyard of a cleric family. well, specifically the son's beloved garden, in the basil section :(((

micah wakes up in the bedroom of ambrose vaughan, the middle child of the vaughan family. yes, that was his garden. he doesnt seem so thrilled to have micah crash land in his beloved basil. yet, he healed her. wait a minute, he HEALED her? but shouldn't his magic be fully taken away. when micah points this out, he gets all nervous. odd.
