The Summer Hikaru Died by Silly-chu
The first ep of the anime came out today!
I really enjoyed episode one! I noticed that certain things were shifted around and added that weren't in the first chapters of the manga, most notably the filler/character introductions of Tanaka, Satou, and Rie.
Rie isn't introduced until the end of chp.4, Tanaka in chp.9, and Satou in chp.18. (Potentially more based off the light novel?).
Overall the anime stays true to the style and atmosphere of the manga :heart:

i haven't read the manga so its really interesting to know your perspective since i wouldn't have noticed these changes lol
anyway-
they probably want the story to move faster... maybe the series will be a 1or 2 season ordeal?

I only really noticed the changes when I tried to read along lol!
I feel like it's almost moving slower in a way? Idk, I hope the story doesn't change too much.
But I do like how the cicadas are still just as present as they were in the manga!

@-Muis0nCrack- Yeah, it's one of my favorites! I even have one of the light novels (prob only going to buy vol 1 because it's printed in the US so it's like, an extra $6 where I live :broken_heart:)
