yeah, i dont think he cared that he got hurt from Akutagawa, just thankful he was fended off.

but he probably snuck a glance at Dazai and saw all the hope, joy, life, and emotions fade out of him, then js felt a pang of how he looks less lifeless than when he was 15 3:
