they're gonna hurt for the first 1-2 weeks so u should probably stick to soups and soft foods for that time

@JAZZLEKITTENS I had rubber band spacers in and I cried when I ate and brushed my teeth cus it crammed my teeth in the front and back :broken_heart:

I have braces now and there's this really good mouthwash you can buy on Amazon if your parents are willing that helps with mouth and teeth soreness and pain. Even sores from the rubbing of your braces against your cheeks will hurt a little less. It's Colgate Peroxyl Mouth Sore Rinse. I think it was like $9 maybe?? Not too much.

Also, when you wear wax for the inside-cheek sores, don't forget it's in your mouth and eat (but drinking's fine), it will at least partly go down with the food 0_0
