why is art so hard
like im considering quitting cuz i literally just spent 2 hours trying to make some drawing look good, only for it too come out like absolute şħíť

ik i cant always have good drawings but when its smth i really wanted to do and it looks bad i just get so discouraged from drawing so i lose all my motivation
i thought art was supposed to be fun. this isnt fun tf

I think your art is amazing :pray: sometimes the best thing to do when a drawing won't look how we want is to take a break. OR you could just make some chill doodles as a warm-up.

I feel like this too at times, don't worry, you're not alone in this feeling! Sometimes taking a 'lil break is good, as someone said above. Another good thing you could possibly do is leave the drawing alone for a few days (or even weeks or months as I have before!) and then come back to it with new eyes and a new perspective.

I secretly watch all your socials that i have access to because i like your art so much, and that might seem like a big expectation to live up to. Its not. I ate deodorant yesterday, and it tasted good. so if you post something that you think is bad, i prolly think that its good.
